112686.7 / <br />MEETINGTO: Mayor and City Council <br />1986 C 8 <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administrator M� <br />DATE: November 26, 1986 OR0NO <br />SUBJECT: 1987 Salary Schedule <br />,'attachment: A. 1987 Salary Resolution <br />ISSUE - Adoption of the budgeted amounts for salwries commencing <br />1 January 1987. <br />DISCUSSION - During the Council's 1987 budget consideration the <br />Council approved a 3% increase of salaries for City employees. <br />With the expectation of approval for the comparable worth <br />adjustments for 1986 the following resolution is presented <br />incorporating the 1986 :;hanges together with a 3% across the <br />board change for general employees. <br />Additionally $10.00 per month was budgeted for family insurance <br />which is in line with increases anticipated for insurance. This <br />year as the County has made a change in their program the changes <br />for 1987 will not be effective until the first of April 1987, at <br />which time it is anticipated that they will go up approximately <br />10�. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the attached resolution <br />be adopte(:. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _ , seconded by _ , to adopt <br />resolution # setting salaries for 1987 commencing 1 January <br />1987 for general employees subject to further comparable worth <br />adjustments in 1987.
