Big Island Board of Governors/Staff memo dated <br />9/15/86 <br />ISSUE - Discussion of further Big Island Board of Governors' <br />concerns as it relates to City staff treatment of them based on a <br />memo distributed at your September 22, 1986 meeting. <br />DISCUSSION <br />At you September 22, 1986 meeting, Joe Backus, a member of the <br />Big island Board of Governors was present but indicated that he <br />would desire to postpone discussion in response to the September <br />15, 1986 memo until such time as he had change to review it and <br />confer with other members of the Board. <br />Subsequently Mr. Backus has called and has requested to be placed <br />on the October 27, 1986 agenda. To date the staff has received <br />no further communication from the Board regarding their concerns <br />that were raised at the August 25th Council meeting. Staff <br />stands ready to meet with them to discuss these issues. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, to accept the <br />concerns of the Big Island Board of Governors and request staff <br />present recommenJ ation on concerns felt pertinent by the Council <br />at the November 10, 1986 meeting.
