The idea was well received but nothing has been done yet. Holly asked the Committee members to contact her if they had any ideas of any other organizations that might be interested and what particular person she should contact. She has also been in touch with MHS students that were trained last year, they will be meeting to discuss taping foot- ball games, etc. The Lake Minnetonka News is still going strong, there was an article in the paper this week. Insurance - Administrator Hansen contacted the St. Paul Access. They have insurance as part of their package deal, it is $1000 deductible. She is still checking. MACTA Conference - There is a conference at the Bioomington Holiday Inn International on Friday, September 12th, from 12:00 PM to A:00 PM. The charge is $15 and lunch is included. She en- courages attendance and suggests the Committee pay for anyone who cares to attend. Holly, Lesley Hughes -Seamans, Jim Olds, Jim Swartwood and Tom Anderson expressed interest in attending. NATOA Conference - There is a NATOA conference in Philadelphia in September. Holly said it is Administratively orientated. She would like to go and recommends pending Chairman Olds. The cost would be: School and membership $ 250 @ = $ 500 Hotel 327 @ = 654 Airfare 200 @ = 400 Holly - expenses 140 = 140 Total cost for two $ 1,600 Chairman Olds said this conference was very beneficial and en- couraged the Committee to send more than one person. fie said he would be able to go but perhaps someone else is also interested in going and if they were to let him know. Motion 8.19.86.3 - Anderson moved, De monchaux seconded, that two people be allowed to attend the conference. Motion carried unanimously. C. Legal Council no report at this time D. Dow -Sat Mary Smith of Dow -Sat distributed the monthly rc and re- viewed it with the Committee. She offered to submit the report to Holly in advance so it could be sent out with the Agenda so it would keep those absent ir.formed.She said their revised budget goal for year end (9/30/86) is 3,600 subscribers for the Lake Minnetonka System.
