A
Coffee Cove resident
at Fagerness Point
COFFEE
requested that the
Slow buoy line at the
west end of the Cove
COVE
be adjusted westward so that point wash would be reduced.
SLOW
BUOY
Result: Slow buoy
nff Fagerness has been
adjusted westwardly.
2. Excelsior Point. An Excelsior Point resident has requested EXCELSIOR
that the point buoy which was removed several years ago be POINT
installed off Excelsior Point, or the Slow buoy line be moved SLOW BUOY
north of this location.
Result: County maintenance has offered to reinstall a point
buoy for 1987 as a better alternative to moving the
Slow buoy line northward.
3. The committee reviewed earlier requests that
a Slow buoy be placed in the entrance of the Seahorse lagoon,
and recommended that the District authorize placement of a
private Slow buoy by Seahorse, meeting county specifications.
5. Tanager Lake. The committee reviewed a request for a Slow buoy
in front of Windward Marine on Tanager Lake because of water
skiing incidents, recommending that the District authorize a
private Slow buoy 150' beyond the dock, meeting county
specifications.
The committee reviewed the Slow buoy policy for adoption next SLOW BUOY
month.
