Gerhardson, Public Works Coordinator <br />GCT i 3 18n <br />Date: September 23, 1986 <br />Subject: Release of Funds Community Development Block Grant'' <br />Program Year XII <br />For the program year XII of the Community Development Block <br />Grant Program, the City of Orono designated all Year XII monies <br />to assist in paying assessments for qualifying residents in the <br />Crystal Bay sanitary sewer project area. Year XII monies should <br />have amounted to $23,825 but due to monies held in abeyance at <br />the federal level, the City of Orono received $19,764. <br />Therefore, in order to comply with HUD regulations in <br />administering the assessment grant program, it was necessary to <br />reallocate $3,877 from the Year X Rehabilitation Grant Program. <br />HUD has now released the balance of the monies held for Year <br />XII whi,:h amount to $4,061. <br />It is recommended that these monies be placed back into the <br />Year X Rehabilitation Grant Program from which the City <br />reallocated $3,877 from the Crystal Bay Assessment Program. <br />To: Mary Butler & Orono Council Members <br />R <br />From: Mark E.
