wif beAAeple busses ..erulcal pleAAIAg board <br />4100 verses evesue ieufb, -I. loult perk, slanesefe $5416 <br />e..f <br />tAAtpIA 920��:is <br />goes <br />ferrite.. <br />1986 INFORMATION ABOUT <br />WEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES PLANNING BOARD <br />Energy Assis nce Program <br />Residents of West Hennepin are given a choi of seven decentralized <br />intake sites operated by West Hennepin Human Services Planning Board <br />at which to apply for the Energy Assistance program. <br />During the 1985-86 Energy Assistance Program, the following assistance <br />was .received by residents of , st Hennepin: <br />* 1371 households (this is <br />$487,''8 of heating ass. <br />addition, 89 households <br />assistance. <br />Emergency Services <br />3,647 indi,.-ivals) received <br />-tance from our program. In <br />.eceived $28,813 of crisis <br />West Hennepin Human Services received federal, state and county funds <br />for emergency food, shelter, clothing and transportation nervices. <br />The program is delivered in cooperation with Interchurch Community <br />Association, Interaith Outreach, St. Louis Park Emergency Program <br />and Westonka Christian Services as well as Home Free Shelter, So- <br />jou,ner Shelter, Tne Jobs -)r Families Program and 12 area police <br />departments. In 1985 a total of $68,451 served 3,7R6 'r-�st Hennepin <br />residents. In 198r, $107,437 in federal and county f+ s have been <br />received so far to serve the emergency needs of West . nepin resi- <br />dents. <br />Volunteer Hours <br />West Hennepin Human Services Planning Board receives the following <br />contribution of hours per year from volunteers: <br />Board of Directors 5,795 <br />Energy Assistance 990 <br />Citizen Participation <br />Process 1,781 <br />8TM <br />In addition, we receive thousar:ls of hours in volunteer time from our <br />many committees and task forces. This represents more than the equiva- <br />lent of four full time staff Feople. <br />Community Social Services Act Process The Community Social Services <br />Act Process varies from year -•to -year der-nding upon the opporutnities <br />available for the gathering and analysis if data.
