8186.5 <br />TO: Mayor and City Council pppppp��� <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administratokr� <br />DATE: August 1, 1986 J <br />SUBJECT: Councilmember Appointment - Edward Callahan <br />At your July 14, 1986 meeting on a 4 - 0 vote the current <br />Councilmembers moved to appoint Ed Callahan to the position of <br />Councilmember filling the vacancy of John Hammerel who's <br />resignation was effective July 29, 1986. Based on advice of the <br />City Attorney it is recommended that the Council adopt the <br />attached resolution indicating that Mr. Callahan is qualified and <br />can fill the vacancy. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _ , seconded by , to adopt <br />resolution } appointing as a qualified Councilmember Ed <br />Callahan to the Orono City Council effective 1 August, 1986. <br />Ayes _, Nays _. <br />
