This repre, :s a 10% <br />increase over the 1985-86 contract price, but does i .ect the <br />tir usage they t-kn `or additional market data development for <br />the nique propel ti.. in Orono, together with the level of new <br />con: .ruction activity ir, the City. This qe---ally running <br />between 50 to 60 & year which is an incr- ! ; t.he 15 to 20 <br />th&t were being dealt with by Hennepin Co, no :i.,r,en they had <br />the contract. It should be noted that thL- Q'ssessinrj being done <br />for the new building construction is done several times during <br />the construction process in order to determine type, quality and <br />extent of construction in order to better value the property. <br />For existing r— -)perties it is anticipated that the quadrant they <br />wi 11 be doing for 1986 wi 11 general ly be east of Br(;wn Road and <br />north of Shoreline. V inc 1udes many unique on lake and off <br />lake properties. Staff feels the amount requested reflects the <br />quality ;_:-.J quant i *y of work done by them. It should be noted <br />that the contract amount from the County wizen th,.t was stepped in <br />1983-84 was $42,000. <br />RECOMMENDA'­ON - The staff recommends approval of the amount as a <br />fafa r'price r the assessing services the City does receive.
