Mabusth, Zoning Administrator <br />Date: July 10, 1986 <br />Subject: Hiring of a temporary part-time employee to assist on - <br />site septic inspection program <br />The Building a Zoning Department has budgeted approximately <br />$3,500 for part-time assistance with the on -site septic <br />inspections program for the summer of 1986. Staff has selected <br />John Petran, of four applicants, a senior at the Veterinary <br />School at the U. of M. Mr. Petran will officially join the <br />staff on July 14, 1986 through September 25, 1986. His duties <br />will be predominately field inspection and follow-up clerical <br />work for the septic maintenance program. Petran will be paid <br />$7.00 an hour and he is responsible for providing his own <br />transportation and gas expense. Mr. Petran will work a minimum <br />of 24 hours a week but he will work upto 40 hours if needed and <br />if weather is satisfactory. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by __, seconded by _, that the City <br />Counc'1 formally approve the hiring of John Petran as a temporary <br />part-time employee of the Building i Zoning Department at an <br />hourly rate of $7.00 and to commence such employment on July 14, <br />1986. <br />
