Bed & Breakfast Amendment <br />June 19, 1986 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />4. No on -site commercial signage or lighting shall be allowed. All <br />signage is limited to residential signs allowed under Section 10.61, <br />Subdivision 2 A, B & C. <br />Planning ommission amended by adding or lighting. <br />5. The Bed & Breakfast operation shall hav-; a state license <br />(lodging), and comply with all ap,a licabl.( standards of the State <br />Uniform Building Code and State Fire (7ode. <br />6. A conditional use permi'. must be issued annually for a Bed & <br />Breakfast operation. This permit is not tr,.r `enable to a new owner. <br />7. All Bed & -eakfast guest us. actin: must be located 30', 401, <br />50' from adjacent lot lines. <br />Planning Commission chose the 50' setback standard. <br />8. Sanitary facilities shall be adequate to handle the proposed level <br />of usage. Where municipal sewers are not available for connection, it <br />shall be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate that the <br />existing on -site sewage treatment facilities meet standards of the <br />Orono On -Site Sewage Treatment Code for the proposed level of usage. <br />In addition, applicant shr 1 demonstrate that a suitable alternate <br />drainfield site exists on ti.j property. <br />9. An updated f lcor plan must he :maintained by owner ,ignating the <br />following: <br />a) <br />location <br />of <br />guest rooms <br />b) <br />locati^n <br />of <br />guest bathrooms <br />c) <br />location <br />of <br />resident bedrooms <br />d) <br />location <br />of <br />resident bachrooms <br />Planning Commission amended bl adding the followir. <br />:applicants must submit lan_ ,cape plan, site r an <br />locating _l1 improvements and quest activities and <br />an updated floor plan designating the following: <br />10.
