The wall extended along
Ulrich's portion of the lagoon shoreline and 20 feet into his
neighbor's portion (City received written agreement from Blohorn
approving the sea wall extention). Ulrich now wishes to extend
the same type of sea wall along the remaining lagoon shoreline
which he now owns in total.
The applicant once again presents the following
justification f- the request:
1. The ? in area - soft peaty muck soils that remain
along the joon bank area is a natural habitat for muskrats
- the seawall extension will F ent thc bank rats from
destroying the unprotected bank a,i lawn areas adjacent to
lagoon.
2. Trapping and rip rock is not effective.
3. Aesthetically desirable to tie in the whole lagoon area.
4. Sea wall is most acceptable method in controlling
«erosion of low elevated shoreline bank areas consisting of
peaty muck soft soils.
