Section 5.25 Shows and Large Assemblies <br />Subd. 1. License required. It is unlawful for any <br />person to present any public show. movie, caravan, circus, <br />carnival, theatrical or other performance or exhibition without <br />first having obtained a license therefor from the City. It is <br />also unlawful for any person to promote or sponsor a large <br />assembly, for any purpose and to which the public is invited, <br />without first having obtained a license therefor from the City. <br />For the purpose of this Section, "large assembly" means a <br />gathering, or projected gathering, of more than three hundred <br />(300) persons at one time and at a single location. This shall <br />apply in additon to any permitted requirement under Section 6.08 <br />of this ordinance. <br />A printed copy of the ordinance is available for <br />inspection by any person at the office of the City Clerk. <br />This Ordinance becomes effective upon publication, the <br />week of April 21, 1986. <br />Adopted by the City Counci 1 of Orono on this 14th day of <br />April, 1986, by a vote of ayes and nays. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary C.
