B I G I SI ANO BOAI40 OF GOVERNORS <br />MEETING MINUTES - 8 JUNE 1988 <br />The meeting was called to order with Wisdorf, Gorney, Olson and <br />Aakre in attendence. <br />The treasu.er's report was approved with balances of $41,000 in <br />nbney market and $2,000 in the checking arcouot. <br />A motion w r _u to hold bills from drag for $1,700 in well <br />repairs and $1,. " i1r pipe. The board chairman will direct the contact <br />maker to preset., ontract scope versus bill preformances. <br />Donations for $1,000 from Bearcat Post and $300 from MOPH Chapter 8 <br />were acknowledged. <br />A motion was passed to pay normal bills. <br />The Orono planning commission has approved Phase 2 day camping <br />without any major changes. <br />Gorney will mail out survey co -tracts and PO's tomorrow. <br />Sharpe was authorized to dispose of 165 gallons of diesel fuel <br />at what ever price can be obtained. <br />A presentation of the Falldin Post plaque will be i:,ade at the <br />Fifth District convention. <br />The direct mail solicitation letters to Legion posts will be <br />mailed by Wisdorf by the end of June. Morrow is to mail the VFW letters. <br />Wisdorf, Aakre and Sharpe were appointed to develop the operation <br />committee and action list for opening. <br />Dora will develop a plan for a re -opening ceremony on 10 July and <br />will report at the next meeting. <br />Per diem was waived. <br />The meeting was adjourned with the next meeting yet for 22 June <br />1988 at 7 p.m. <br />For the Board, <br />Keith Aakre <br />Secretary, <br />
