The <br />Camp Director is equipped with a wireless phone that is operational over <br />90'� of BIVC. <br />9) Smoke detectors are being issued to each cariper upon registration for all <br />cabins. At the present time fire extingui.','tprs are available in every <br />third cabin. (Note: It appears there was a .iisunderstanding on the <br />number of fire extinguishers required.) 1 s,,oke with 0e Camp Director, <br />Mark Peterson, on August 8, 1983, and he assured me fire extingiishe-s <br />would be in all cabins as ..-on as possible. <br />10) Hand-held extinguishers are available in the Dining Hall and a sprinkler <br />system is contemplated as part of the long-range plan. <br />11) At the present time no emergency preparedness plans are in effect. As you <br />mentioned this could be accomplished with the assistance of local and county <br />departments. <br />12) One of these landfills has been removed and the second is scheduled for <br />removal by Minnetonka Barge Company, with the next two weeks (now tentatively <br />scheduled for 8/11/83). <br />13) All buildings not presently in use are boarded up. Again, demolition may be <br />part of the long-term lease and appropriate permits will be applied for. <br />14) It has been decided that 3.2 beer will not be sold on the premises. The <br />cigarette license is pending at this !.ime. <br />15) a. Extent of camp use: <br />I. any year -around occupancy? Caretaker. <br />2. main season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day. <br />3. peak occupancy at any one time: <br />120 guests using 30 cabins; and 6 employees using 4 cabins. <br />4.
