W:GULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, MAY 23, 1977 Page 18
Applicant said system was working without VARIANCE
problems, but that he had no idea what kind of 185 Bederwood
system it is. (Continued)
Henry Muhieh, also, introduced Mr. Victor E.
Norton's, 3580 Bayside Road, letter, dared
May 23, 1977, which states:
Thank you for a copy of the May 23, 1977 agenda
sent to the above address calling our attention
to items 12 & 16. We would like to comment on
item 16 relative to permit #268 for Randy
Fredickson, 185 Bederwood.
3580 Bayside Road is immediately west of 185
BederwGod. The over flow is just a few feet
east of our property line. In some instances,
drainage from it has run across our property.
Could sc.ne proviso be issued to alleviate this
problem? Prior tenants have resorted to frequent
pumping and limited use. Perhaps the capacity
of the system could be increased.
We would appreciate a correction of the problem.
End of letter
Council Meeting - May 23, 1.9777
Mayor Van. Nest moved, Welsh seconded, to table
the variance request of Randy Frederickson, 185
Bederwood, until June 13, 1977,for further staff
review. He
owns Lot 9 and the west half of Lot S. They
are combined as arcel 4235. He is currently
paying off the assessments on I.ot 9. An unpaid
water assessment balance of $608.95 is yet due
on the lot currently occupied by his house.
Nov, Mr. Peterson is considering purchasing the
east half of Lot 8 from the County Forfeiture
Land Department.
