Henry Muhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, WARTANCE read into the record the following variance 1'�, Bederwood request of Randy Fredrickson, 185 Bederwood, #268 dated May 11, 1977: Randy Fredrickson Randy Fredrickson, 1'3 Bederwood, is requesting a variance to permit addition of three bedrooms and an enlarged living room bay to an existing home. The contractor applied for a permit without a survey. He was informed that a survey was required and a variance appeared likely. lie returned with a variance application May 10, 1977, and within an hour a subcontractor had called for a footing inspection. Inspection was refused and a STOP WORK ORDER was placed on the project. The excavation was already completed at that time with no permit having been issued. Should the variance be approved, the building permit will be subject to the double fee penalty. Planning Commission Meeting - May 16, 1977 The Planning Commission approved on work session because of hardships and that addition would not require setback variances and because owner presented letter of approval from adjoining neighbors. All neighbors will be notified by City prior to Council meeting. The Commission did question the functioning of the septic system. (Continued)
