13186.12 <br />To: Mayor and City Council <br />lROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Admini, <br />DATE: January 31, 1906 <br />SUBJECT: Leave of Absence - Teri Naab <br />COUNCIL AlEoft <br />,r DEB 1 o 1966 <br />CRY OF ORONO <br />Under the Administrative and Personnel Policy it requires that <br />the Council approve any leave of absence that exceeds 20 working <br />days. It is anticipated that Mrs. Nash will be absent from the. <br />job a total of approximately 90 calendar day, from the day she <br />has to leave w .. to deliver the baby. It is anticipated that of <br />the 65 working uvys involved that she will use sick leave and her <br />vacation for 35 of those days. This however requires a leave of <br />absence without pay for approximately 30 working days. It is <br />requested that you approve this leave of absence with the <br />condition that she may work part days at the convenience of the <br />City to handle overload work for no more than 12 hours per week <br />during this period. She will have availability of insurance <br />benefits and the City will pay a prorated share if she works at <br />least 10 hours per week. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by , to grant a leave <br />of absence to Mrs. Teri Naab—for balance period of 90 calander <br />days from the date she leaves that is not covered by sick leave <br />or vacation under the conditions outlined above.
