A verbal summary <br />r.:port of that data shall be transmitteu to one or more - <br />Managers each week. Shuuld quickly chan6ln6 water level <br />conditions be encourrterc:d on Lake Minrnetorika or Minnehatla <br />Creek, verbal reports will be transiuitted as required. <br />All verbal summary ►•epor•ts shall include a recommendation <br />for adjustment, if' any, of the discharge at the control <br />strucure along with the time the adsustment is to be <br />implemented. The recommendation shall also identify when the <br />aci,; ustment will be implemented. <br />B.4 Implementation_of Necommended Action, <br />Upon verbal approval by one or inure N;anagers , the <br />Engineer shtill implement the recommended discharge adjustment <br />as directed and in accoruance with Section 111. 01,6HA`i'ING <br />PROCEDURES. <br />B.5 Frequency of Clacharge Adjustment <br />Lischare,e ad j ustment frequency will be 11miten to the <br />extent practical, to a weekly basis. More frequent <br />adjustments may be required it' a substantial increase or <br />decrease in the rate of discharge is necessary. In this <br />case, the overall adjustment will, to the extent possible, be <br />Implemented in incrtmenta to avoid abrupt water level <br />fluctuations on Minnehaha Creek as a result of discharge <br />adjustments at the control structure. <br />Emergency discharge adjustment may be imp leme nted—Uh7je r <br />the conditions specified in Paragraphs B.6 or B.7 below. <br />B.6 Flnergency Ad.,ustment <br />The Engineer shall have the authority tQ change the <br />discharge between regular adjustments where Immediate change <br />is necessary to reduce or avoid significant risk to sai'ety or <br />damage to property which would likely result If' the change is <br />not made. The Engineer shall protuptly communicate all such <br />emergency adjustments to the Manaaera and to all a2'f'ected <br />municipalities. <br />If sudden conditions produce high creek flows anu it is <br />feasible to store water on the lake ror 12 to 46 huura, gates <br />will be closed to allow creek flows to abate.
