14 .* <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administratorh\'�� <br />DATE: December 5, 1985 <br />SUBJECT: Suburban Hennepin County Park Reserve District <br />Presentation - Noerenberg Park Preview <br />A representative: from irban Hennepin County Parks will be <br />present to make a short slide and sound presentation to the <br />Council regarding the makeup and budget of the Park Reserve <br />District since the legislative change which exempted iiinneapolis. <br />This presentation at this point is of an informative nature only. <br />Additionally the representative will briefly recap proposed <br />"highlights" that they have intended in the design for the new <br />Noerenberg Park. This is not a formal consideration or <br />presentation but only of an informative nature. The Reserve <br />District is presently making far -^al application for the needed <br />nd use variances and conditional use permits and these will be <br />Drought to the Planning Commission for formal consideration at <br />their January 21st meeting togethe-r with a presentation to the <br />Park Commission in early January. It is anticipated that i- <br />Planning Commission doeF make a decision on these laid use <br />applications that they will be presented to the Council for <br />formal consideration on February 10, 1986. It is during this <br />formal consideration that the neighborhood will receive the <br />appropriate notification so that they may comment on their <br />feelings regarding the change in the Park. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - MoveJ by , seconded by , that the Council <br />accept the informat4on for informational purposes at this time <br />only.
