Citx7 of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION REGULATING THE USE <br />OF HIGHWOOD PUBLIC ALLEY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has legal title to an alley <br />which currently provides motoriz,^d vehicular access to West Arm <br />Say on Lake ,Minnetonka between 4156 and 4175 Eiighwood Road, and <br />WHEREAS, the use of the alley by motorized vehicles has <br />become a nuisance to the residents on both sides of the alley. <br />`iOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. That the se of the alley by motorized vehicles shall be <br />terminated excepting City maintenance vehicles. <br />2. Staff is directed to mark the boundaries of the alley, <br />to post the necessary signs to notify the public of <br />these rec;ulations, and to close the alley to motorized <br />vehicles excepting City maintenance vehicles. <br />3. no way is the City abandoning its interest in the <br />access by th action and the City reserves the right to <br />remove any .-rictions at any time in the future. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono at a <br />reg filar Counc: 1 meeting on Decembc 9, 1985. <br />ATTEST: Mary._.
