TO: Mayor and City Council <br />_J <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administrator <br />DATE: November 6, 1985 � <br />SUBJECT: Administrator's Information <br />GOAL NETTING STATUS <br />During the past week and a half I have been able to review the <br />goal setting status at the six month mark with four of the five <br />Counci1.members and will be sitting down with the fifth <br />Councilmember in the next two weeks to review that in total. In <br />addition to the goal setting I have requested Councilmembers to <br />think of what expectations at this point have not been full <br />filled together with other ideas and issues that need to be <br />looked at in the next six months. If. it is your desire I would <br />be happy to put on as an agenda item in one of the r,c.xt two <br />meetings a discussion of Administrator's performance for the <br />Council to discuss as a whole, if that is your desire. <br />ACTING ADMINISTRATOR <br />As noted in the Personnel Rules there is provision for <br />appointment of an Acting Administrator to perform t1ie necessary <br />functions of the Administrator's office in his absence. As I <br />think I've indicated to you, my appointment to that position is <br />John Gerhardson and I have given him my letter of authority <br />regarding the duties that I want him to be responsible for in my <br />absence. I did this in advance of my most recent vacation and <br />will continue to do it in periods in which I am absent. Should <br />you have any further questions or comments, please let me know. <br />MINNF,TONKA GUN Cf.UB <br />As you may be aware the Camp has withdrawn their protest against <br />the Gun Club that had been filed with the Minnetrista City <br />Co��r�cil and based on information we have to date it looks as if <br />the -un Club will again permit the City of 9rono and other police <br />agencies to utilize the facility for appropriate weapons <br />training. <br />SCHLEE DEVELOPMENT <br />Attorneys arse presently reviewing the Letter of Credit. and will <br />bp discussinq payment arrangements and existing delinquencies <br />with the bank in order to }gyring the development current.
