311. LEAVE OF ABSENCE - NLTHOOT PAT <br />1. The City Administrator may authorize regular employeet to be <br />al•sent without pay for personal reasons for a period, or periods, <br />not to exceed a total of twenty (2i! working days in my calendar <br />year. Leaves of absence without Fay in excess of twenty (is) <br />working days in a calendar year must be approved by the City <br />Council. In no instance may a leave of absence exceed 180 <br />calendar days. Employees shall request ouch ?saves of absence <br />without pay in writing we, 1 in advance of the date so desired. <br />2. Leaves of absence shall not be given for the purpose of <br />enabling any employee to work for another employer or to engage in <br />any form cf self-employment. Any employee who obtains a leave of <br />absence after misrepresenting the purpose thecetore shall be <br />disciplined Including discharged. <br />312. CANCELLATION Or LEAVE <br />The City Administrator :nay cancel any leave of absence, <br />aXcept military leave, at any time upon prior written notice tt <br />the employee specifying a date for return to work. <br />313.
