North Shore Drive - It is recommended that: <br />a.) Staff work with residents to continue to monitor <br />the problems that are 6 to 8 times out of the year. <br />b.) That the City not commit those reserved slots <br />with LMCD until such time as there is a demonstrated <br />need for additionally committed parking contigent on <br />1 other community's commitments and appropriate <br />geographic distribution of access. <br />2. Public Access - That the City in conjunction with <br />Ythe Metropolitan Council and other lake communities work <br />to assist in the public access siting to the extent that <br />additional sites for boating distribution purpc;es are <br />appropriate for both distribution and parking. <br />Additionally it is recommended that the Council <br />encourage adequate parking spots be obtained near the <br />Mound site. <br />3. Look for Additional Ramp Flow Spots <br />a.) Private access <br />b.) Evaluate current ramp use an-d parkin(l at those <br />sites <br />4. BOATING WHILE INTOXICATED - Work and encourage LMCD <br />and Legislature to pass appropriate legislation, at least for <br />Lake Minnetonka, to make it a managable situation. <br />5.
