6. Purchase or Return of Device <br />Upon separation with the City, the City staff and Council Members must return the device to the <br />IT department. Upon separation with the City due to the conclusion of the term of office or <br />resignation, the iPad will be returned to the IT department, who will: (1) have the device returned <br />to factory settings and remove any documents, images, files, or media stored on the device and <br />re -issue the unit; or (2) allow the outgoing Council Member or City staff to purchase his or her <br />device at "trade in" value established by a reputable electronic store. <br />7. Acknowledgement <br />All City staff and Council Members who are assigned an Wad or tablet device shall be provided <br />a copy of these guidelines and shall acknowledge receipt and understanding of the provisions <br />outlined herein. The guidelines may be updated as needed. <br />I agree that I will use the City's laptop, Wad or tablet device in accordance with the specifics <br />outlined in this user agreement.
