UPON MOTION by Don Anderson, seconded by Bill Levering, Dave McKown was <br />appointed to serve on the Minnesota State High School League committee. <br />UPON MOTION by Don Anderson, seconded by Jim Fr nklin, Dave McKown was appointed <br />to serve on the TIES committee. <br />UPON MOTION by Don Anderson, seconded by Bill Levering, Jim Franklin was <br />appointed to serve on the A.M.S.D. committee with Kitty Crosby as alternate. <br />UPON MOTION by Bill Levering, seconded by Lucie Taylor, Don Anderson was <br />appointed to serve on the E.C.S.U. Representative Assembly committee with Jim <br />Franklin as alternate. <br />UPON NOTION by Jim Franklin, seconded by Kitty Crosby, Lucie Taylor was <br />appointed as the representative to P.E.R. general assembly with Bill Levering as <br />alternate. <br />UPON MOTION by Don Anderson, seconded by Bill Levering, Jim Franklin was <br />appointed to serve on the Community Education committee with Bill Levering as <br />alternate. <br />UPON NOTION by Jim Franklin, seconded by Bill Levering, Lucie Taylor was <br />appointed to serve as M.S.B.A. Comnet person with Jim Seiter as alternate. <br />UPON NOTION by Jim Franklin, seconded by Lucie Taylor, Kitty Crosby was <br />appointed to serve on the Title 1 committee. Jim Franklin MOVED and Lucie <br />Taylor seconded to amend the motion to appoint Don Anderson as alternat-. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Jim Franklin, Bill Levering was <br />appointed to serve on the Continuing Education committee. <br />UPON NOTION by Bill Levering, seconded by Don Anderson, Kitty Crosby, Bill <br />Levering and Lucie Taylor were appointed to serve on the Negotiating committee. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Lucie Taylor, Don Anderson and Jim <br />Franklin were appointed to serve on the Parent Meet and Confer committee. <br />UPON MOTION by Lucie Taylor, seconded by Kitty Crosby, the Board accepted the <br />low bid of McBroom Construction for repair/maintenance of the middle school ten- <br />nis courts. Usage of the tennis courts for school programs will be monitored in <br />order to provide backup data when/if further maintenance is required. <br />Bill Fenholt commented on the condition of the high school track according to <br />the engineer and the Board expressed their concerns. Mr. Bob Roscoe, engineer, <br />had examined the present track and he felt that the track base is adequate for <br />resurfacing. As this has been a concern of the Board for some time, Mr. Fenholt <br />said he was pleased to realize that the track problems were not as serious as <br />previously assumed. Mr. Fenholt stated that the problems/maintenance with the <br />track are not due, according to the engineer, to a poor base but that our <br />problems are with the surface. The engineer did not take soil samples berallse <br />he saw no need to do so. <br />UPON NOTION by Bill Levering, seconded by Kitty Crosby, the Board accepted <br />Alternate 1 from the company of McBroom for repair and resurfacing of the high <br />school track. <br />
