#915 Roland Amundson <br />Page 3 <br />July 2, 1985 <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />To approve the after -the -fact conditional use permit and variance <br />application of Roland C. Amundson finding the application as amended <br />to be in keeping with the intent of the standards of the zoning code that <br />govern all lakeshore use. This approval is subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Access stairs as proposed on lands^ape plan by Otten Brothers <br />Nursery & Landscaping, Inc. dated April 24, 1985 must be built <br />as one unit with existing foundation (move landing and stairs <br />over the foundation --stairs are to be structurally tied into <br />platform/foundation) Stairs must meet 4' maximum width -- <br />not 6' as shown. <br />2. Applicant's landscape contract-r must have all plans for <br />erosion control approved by staff prior to installation of <br />plantings along lakeshore bank. <br />3. A 36" high railing must be installed around all open areas of <br />platform. Applicant must obtain a building permit for <br />construction of access stairs, completion of platform deck <br />and dock. <br />4. DNR and MCWD must approve and permit all rip rap proposed along <br />shoreline. <br />The attached resolution has been drafted based on the Planning <br />Commission recommendation. Please note the resolution deals only <br />with the conditional use permit and not the variance (Section 10.03, <br />Subdivision 5 (H) p1--ase of the application because the property is <br />torrens and the Regir' -ar of Titles would not accept a variance <br />resolution for filir.e. <br />
