ORDINANCE NO. , 2ND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA. AMENDING ORONO CITY COD£ <br />CHAPTER 9 ENTITLED, "PUBLIC PROTECTION, CRIMES AND OFFENSES" BY ADDING <br />A PROVISION AS TO INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS; AND, BY ADOPTING BY <br />REFERENCE, CITY CODE CHAPTER 1 AND SECTION 9.99 WHICH, AMONG OTHER <br />THINGS, CONTAIN PENALTY PROVISIONS. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO ORDAINS: <br />Section 1. Orono City Code Chapter 9 is hereby amended by <br />addinq a Section to read: <br />SEC. 9.10 <br />Subd. 5A. Insurance Requirements. A policy or certificate <br />of insurance, on which the City, its agents and employees are <br />additional Insureds, providing public liability insurance in the <br />amount of at least $100,000 for tli injury of one person, $300,000 <br />for the injury of two or more per. ;,ns in the same accident, and <br />$10,000 for property damages. Hetore permit shall be issued, <br />the applicant shall file with the City Clerk the above policy <br />or certificate showing (1) that the limits are at least as high <br />as required, (2) that the coverage is effective for at least <br />the license term approved, and (3) that such insurance will not <br />be terminated without thirty days written notice served upon the <br />City Cleri. Cancellation or termination of such coverage shall <br />be grounds for permit revocation. <br />Passed by the City Council this day of , 1984, by <br />a vote of_ayes and nays. <br />Mary C.
