F. Tree ..emoval within 75 feet of the lakeshore Ordinance requires a permit from Council to remove a tree over six inches in diameter within 75 feet of lakeshore. Code does not distinguish betweer dead or live trees being removed within the setback area. If Council desires to delegate to staff, staff would rec.,.:-,t- nd adoption of a replacement policy as follows: 1. If City is asked to approve the removal of a tree, City woul%- ask for one replacement tree planting as a condition. 2.
