1985 ORONO BOARD OF REVIEW MAY 30, 1985 <br />The 1985 Board of Review met on Thursday, May 30, 1985. Acting Mayor <br />Frahm called the meeting to order at 7:25 P.M. Mayor Butler, Council - <br />members Grabek, T. Adams and L. Adams were absent. Glenn Busitzky re- <br />presented Hennepin County. Representing the City were Mark Bernhardson, <br />City Administrator; Dorothy Hallin, City Clerk; Teri Naab, Recorder; Rolf <br />Erickson, City Assessor and Dave Wild, Assistant City Assessor. <br />Acting Mayor Frahm explained to the audience the process and purpose <br />of the Board of Review. He explained that anyone who is at this meeting <br />has the right to appeal to the County and State Board of Reviews if they so <br />desire, but their presence must be noted at tonights meeting either by <br />appearing before the Board or signsng the attendance sheet and noting their <br />street address, property I.D. number and phone number where they can be <br />reached during the day. Questions from the audience were answered by the <br />the Board, Mr. Erickson and Mr. Wild. The reconvened meeting of the 1985 <br />Board of Review was scheduled for Monday, June 10, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. <br />Appearing before the Board were: <br />1. Donald Sorenson, Attorney for Charles Boehm, 997 Wildhurst Trail <br />07-117-23 21 0004 <br />Mr. Sorenson stated that it had come to his attention that he could wait to <br />take his clients petition to the June loth meeting or submit the petition <br />in writing, therefore, he would prefer to wait. No action by the Board. <br />2. Marge Rossing, 130 Cygnet Place - 04-117-23 22 0023 <br />Ms. Rossing stated she requested a revaluation of her property. She <br />questioned why her market value had risen in the past year since her <br />neighbors have said all their values have decrease since she has moved into <br />the neighborhood one year ago. Wild noted that he had been to the property <br />to assess the large garage that had just been built. Erickscn stated that <br />a total review had not been done this year. An appointment was set for <br />June 6, 1985 at 5:30 p.m. to do a total review, the results will be sub- <br />mitted to the Board June loth. Council for action. No action by the <br />Board. <br />Acting Mayoi Frahm closed the meeting at 7:36 P.M. The reconvened <br />meeting will be June 10, 1985 at 6:30 P.M. <br />The following property owners have submitted letters which have been <br />received and noted by the Board: <br />Robert H.
