1985 ORONO BOARD OF REVIEW MAY 30, 1985 The 1985 Board of Review met on Thursday, May 30, 1985. Acting Mayor Frahm called the meeting to order at 7:25 P.M. Mayor Butler, Council - members Grabek, T. Adams and L. Adams were absent. Glenn Busitzky re- presented Hennepin County. Representing the City were Mark Bernhardson, City Administrator; Dorothy Hallin, City Clerk; Teri Naab, Recorder; Rolf Erickson, City Assessor and Dave Wild, Assistant City Assessor. Acting Mayor Frahm explained to the audience the process and purpose of the Board of Review. He explained that anyone who is at this meeting has the right to appeal to the County and State Board of Reviews if they so desire, but their presence must be noted at tonights meeting either by appearing before the Board or signsng the attendance sheet and noting their street address, property I.D. number and phone number where they can be reached during the day. Questions from the audience were answered by the the Board, Mr. Erickson and Mr. Wild. The reconvened meeting of the 1985 Board of Review was scheduled for Monday, June 10, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. Appearing before the Board were: 1. Donald Sorenson, Attorney for Charles Boehm, 997 Wildhurst Trail 07-117-23 21 0004 Mr. Sorenson stated that it had come to his attention that he could wait to take his clients petition to the June loth meeting or submit the petition in writing, therefore, he would prefer to wait. No action by the Board. 2. Marge Rossing, 130 Cygnet Place - 04-117-23 22 0023 Ms. Rossing stated she requested a revaluation of her property. She questioned why her market value had risen in the past year since her neighbors have said all their values have decrease since she has moved into the neighborhood one year ago. Wild noted that he had been to the property to assess the large garage that had just been built. Erickscn stated that a total review had not been done this year. An appointment was set for June 6, 1985 at 5:30 p.m. to do a total review, the results will be sub- mitted to the Board June loth. Council for action. No action by the Board. Acting Mayoi Frahm closed the meeting at 7:36 P.M. The reconvened meeting will be June 10, 1985 at 6:30 P.M.
