MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSIV%4 MEETING FEBRUARY 20, 1990 <br />#1496 ROBERT WAADE CONT. <br />Mabusth replied that it is her understanding that Mr. Waade <br />will be cc-istr cting a road to City specifications. <br />Kel iey sugg� :ted to Mr. Waade that he may wish to consider <br />putting gates at wildhurst Trail. <br />Mr. Waade asked how the Planring Commission would react to a <br />request for entrance gates? <br />Kelley replied that he has recommended denial of a <br />previous applications for gates. <br />Bellows said that Mr. Waade's concept of putting gates across <br />a cul-de-sac would defeat the purpose of the cul••de-sac. <br />Mr. Waade said that he could opt for separate entrances with <br />individual gates and omit the cul-de-sac entirely. <br />Mabusth informed Mrs. Waade that the City requires a c-ul-de- <br />sac. <br />Mrs. Waade asked if there would be any opposition to <br />monuments without a gate? <br />Hanson informed Mrs. Waade that monuments are limited to a <br />3.5' height. <br />Bellows added that the monuments must be placed out of the <br />City's tight -of -way. <br />The Planning Commission agreed that they would be inclined <br />to vote favorably provided the issues regarding gates and <br />monuments are addressed. <br />#1498 JOPii MCDOWELL <br />4645 BAYSIDE ROAD <br />SKETCH PLAN REVIEW OF SUBDIVISION <br />Mr. Richard W. Sathre was present on behalf of Mr. McDowell. <br />. and Mrs. Bob Olsen 4645 Bayside Road, were also present. <br />Mr. Sathre sair that the Olo, , r-side in one of the <br />existing home on the property. There are two parcels of land <br />involved with this subdivision. He said that they are hoping to <br />create 7 lots and maintain the two residential lots. In regard <br />to the existing barn, Mr. gathre said they will either need to <br />bring it into conformance with the setbacks or take it down. <br />Kelley asked f there were and animals in the barn at this <br />time? <br />13 <br />
