Your facility has been selected for this program. <br />The purpose of this program is to correct energy deficiencies inherent in various <br />post offices. These imirovements will result in a reduction of energy usag<, thus <br />enhancing the value of your facility. The necessary work involving your facility <br />includes the following items: <br />1. Construct a new hip roof with three tab shingles and adequate ventilation <br />over the entire structure. <br />2. Insulate above the flat roof with blown -in fiberglass to an R value of 38. <br />3. Install a new propane fired, forced air, high efficiency (901 or better) <br />furnace with central air-conditioning. <br />If you choose to solicit these bids and contract the work, the USPS will reimburse <br />you for all reasonable coats, on a Supplemental Agreement. It will be necessary for <br />you to obtain three (3) competitive bids based on the above criteria and <br />specifications, and submit these bids to this office no later than MAY 22, 1985. <br />
