City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF TH-- CITY (:OUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br />AND AWARDING CONTRACT <br />CRYSTAL BAY SANITARY SEWER PROJECT 85-1 <br />WHEREAS, on March 15, 1985, several bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law pursuant to an <br />advertisement for bids for construction of the sanitary sewer in <br />the Crystal Bay area and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends that A.R.I. <br />Contracting Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder for this <br />improvement; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Counc i 1 of the <br />City of Orono, Minnesota <br />1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to enter <br />into a cc.,itract with A.R.I. Contracting Inc. in the name <br />of the City of Orono, according to the plans and <br />specifications therefore approved by the City Council and <br />on file in the office of the Ci;-y Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />the bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained <br />until the contract is signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota, at a regular <br />meeting held on April 22, 1985, by a vote of ayes and <br />nays. _—_-- <br />Mary C:.
