Gaffron, Assistant Zoning Administrator <br />Date: April 1, 1985 <br />Subject: #876 Randy Asplund, 3424-3444 Eastlake Street - <br />Variance <br />Please note - Planning Commission tabled this item on their <br />November agenda because applicant called in sick. There was no <br />December Planning Commission meeting. Applicant was notified but <br />failed to attend the January meeting. At that meeting Planning <br />Commission voted 3-0 to recommend denial based on no hardships <br />demonstrated by applicant. <br />Applicant then requested the item be placed on the March <br />Planning Commission agenda. The neighbors were re -notified, <br />applicant stated he would be present. Applicant failed to attend <br />the March Planning Commission meeting. Planning Commission voted <br />6-0 to deny based on no hardships shown. <br />Applicant has been notified in writing that this item is on <br />the April 8 Council agenda. Since applicant has not appeared <br />before Planning Commission to plead Isis case, I would request <br />your review if he is present, and direct staff to draft a <br />resolution appropriate to youi action. <br />Zoning District - LR-IA <br />Application - A. Variance to construct an 8' high fence along <br />property line adjacent to city street and within <br />75' lake setback area. <br />B.
