Additional architectural features are anticipated including <br />a pool, fountains, benches and observation platforms. <br />B. CONCE"T PLAN FOR NOERENBERG MEMORIAL COUNTY PARK - "A TRADITIONAL <br />ESTATE GARDEN" <br />1. Design Considerations and Site Analysis <br />In looking at the vegetation and topography of the Noerenberg site <br />with the intent to develop an estate garden, special consideration <br />was given to the following features or characteristics of the land: <br />a. Open, Sunny Areas: Up to five large areas of this type are <br />evident on the size. Their specific features range from good <br />to poor soil, flat to sloping terrain, major relationship to <br />the lake as opposed to that of the road, existing gardens to <br />natural area. Suggested uses, depending on particular area, <br />could include gardens, lawns, parking or water features. <br />b. Low, Wet Areas: The land charac rized by this feature is <br />close to the road and is occasionally flooded. Suggested use <br />is extensive planting of low maintenance plant materials and <br />for a possible natural water feature. <br />c. Open Understory with Mature Canopy While mu:;h of the <br />vegetation of this type is close to the lake, some of it does <br />extend north to the road. These areas include mature trees, <br />steep slopes, and a willow allee. It is recommended that no <br />major construction occur within the driplines of the trees. <br />Possible uses could include shade plantiigs and/or manicured <br />
