City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1712 <br />5. The City Council finds that granting a Conditional Use Permit <br />to allow the commercial use of the attached 10' x 25' <br />greenhouse will not be detrimental to the health, safety or <br />general welfare of the public, would not adversely affect <br />light, air nor pose a fire hazard or other danger to <br />neighboring properties, nor will it depreciate surrounding <br />property values and that the proposed level of use of the <br />property will be in keeping with the intent and objectives of <br />the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan of the City. <br />Conclusions, Order and Conditions <br />Based upon the above findings, the Orono City Council hereby <br />grants a Conditional Use Permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section <br />10.20, Subd 3(E) to permit the use of an attached 10' x 25' greenhouse <br />for commercial purposes, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. No retail sales activity may take place on the property. <br />2. Al.l outside storage of materials or ec -iipment must be fenced <br />in such a manner sc as to screen the stored material f rom view <br />When observed from the public street or adjoining lot. <br />3. As a home occupation, the following performance standards <br />further apply: <br />a) Entrance to the greenhouse must be gained from within <br />the house. <br />b) No sign permitted other than those normally allowed in <br />residential districts. <br />C) No employees allowed to wor): on the site. <br />4. The structure must conform to all pertinent Building Code <br />requirements. <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
