(1) Wages paid for labor in the direct employ of Con- <br />tractor in the performance of the changed work in the <br />field or in the fabrirstion shop under applicable col- <br />lective bargaining agreements or under a salary or wage <br />schedule agreed upon by Contractor and Owner, plus a <br />payroll markup of 20 percent to cover all overhead items <br />applicable to payroll, Such as insurance, taxes, <br />F.I.C.A., workmen's compensation, unemployment taxes, <br />and union benefits. <br />(2) Cost of all materials, supplies ,end «equipment in- <br />corporated in the changed work. <br />(3) Cost, including maintenance of all materials, sup- <br />plies, equipment, temporary facilities and hand tools <br />owned by workmen, which are consumed in the performance <br />of the changed work, and cost less salvage value on such <br />items k.rsed but not consumed which remain the property of <br />the Contractor. <br />(4) Third party rental charges of all necessary ma- <br />chinery and equipment, exclusive of hand tools, used in <br />performing the changed work, including installation, <br />miner repairs and replacements, dismantling, remov..l, <br />transportation and delivery costs thereof at rental <br />charges consistent with those prevailing in the area. <br />(5) Cost of additional premiums for all bonds and in- <br />surance which the Contractor is required by the owner or <br />contract do•-uments to purchase and maintain and which is <br />incurred as a resu', of performing the cha,iged work. <br />(6) Sales, use or similar taxes, related to she ::ranged <br />work and for which the Contractor is liable, imposed by <br />any governmental authority. <br />(7) Permit fees, royalties, damages for infringment of <br />patents and costs of defending suits therefore, and de- <br />posits lost for causes ,ether tha,i the Contractor's neg- <br />ligence. <br />(8) Losses and expenses, not compensated by insurance <br />Or otherwise sustained by the Ct itra-tor in connection <br />with the changed work provided they have resulted from <br />causes other than the Bole or joint fault or neglect of <br />the Contractor, any subcontractor, anyone directly or <br />indirectly employed by any of them, or for whose acts <br />e•,.v of them may be liable.
