Frahm stated that he is worried about the <br />long terns problems with the Planning Commission. <br />City Administrator Benson stated that there are some <br />cases where a person has contributed all they can and <br />probably might stay on even though they are not <br />effective. Benson stated an informal policy with <br />guidelines would r- a useful tool. Benson also noted <br />that members from the other commissions would like to <br />move up to the Planning Commission, which is a good <br />learning process. <br />Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Adams seconded, to <br />adopt an informal policy which would limit the number <br />of terms for those appointed in 1985, to 2, 3-year <br />terms that any one individual can serve on the Planning <br />Commission. Motion, Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />SPRING PARK RESOLUTION <br />COUNTY ROAD 15 Councilmember Adams asked if any of the members had <br />problems with the Spring Park Resolution on County <br />Road 15. <br />Councilmember Frahm stated that he had trouble with <br />curb and guttering that stretch and that it should be <br />optional with each City, but if it was a choice between <br />curb and guttering vs ditches, then he wouldn't have a <br />problem with curb and guttering. <br />COUNTY ROAD 15 MEETI 14G <br />ANNOUNCEMENT Councilmember Adams announced the County Road #15 <br />meeting to be held on January 26, 1984, at 7:00 p.m. in <br />the Orono Council Chambers. <br />ORONO-MEDINA-IONG LAKE <br />1981 SEWER AGREEMENT City Administrator Benson reviewed with the Council <br />number of allocated units for Orono. <br />RESOLUTION t1599 <br />NO PARKING WEST <br />FERNDALE ROAD* Councilmember Frahm moved, Councilmember Adams <br />seconded, to approve Resolution 11599, A Resolution <br />Authorizing the Installation Of No Parking Signs On a <br />Portion Of West Ferndale Road. Motion, Ayes (3) , Nays <br />(0). <br />BID AWAF.D - PORTABLE <br />GENERATOR* Councilmember Frahm moved, Councilmember Adams <br />seconded, to approve the bid award for a portable <br />generator to Cummins Diesel, Inc. for an amount not to <br />exceed $21,596.00.
