Mabusth, Building & Zoninq Administrator DATE: December 6, 1984 SUBJECT: #804 Painters Cheek, 4680 Bayside Road - Final Subdivision A) Road Name Request The applicant has selected the following name!; for the plat road; they are listed as to preference: 1st choice = Luce Line Ridge 2nd choice = Randolph Road 3rd choice = Line View Place Staff founu no conflict with the three names selected in review of existing roads in the immediate area and within Hennepin County. Staff recommends the first choice of Luce Line Ridge. B) Refund of Public Road Review Fee You have received a memo from the Finance Department requesting a transfer of $1,000 from the general fund (originally receipted by the Building and Zoning Department for a public road review fee of $2, 100 - see receipt enclosed) to the pare, fund. The applicant has chosen to pay the $1,000 park fee directly and asks merely now that the City refund $1,000 to applicant. Staff has no problem with recommending the refund based -n the following: 1. Staff never authorized staff or consultant time for the public road review. 2. The applicant realized in the early stages of the sk-*ch plan review that the City would not accept tine prof rr.ads as public given the five -acre density and 'ineal footage of roads. 3. The applicant has asked only for a credit of $1,000 and caul(' have asked for a refund of $1,285.
