#723 - Ski Tonka, Inc. <br />March 10, 1983 <br />Page 2 <br />I have not had a response from my letter of February 2, 1983 asking <br />for clarification on the Highway Department's request for additional <br />right of way for Bayside Road. Per Minnesota Statutes, Section 505.03, <br />Subdiv. 2, 3U days ha elapsed from the date of that letter without <br />the required response, we will ask for a �3' dedication not a 401. <br />The plat has been revised realigning the lot line between Lots 1 & 2 <br />based on the inability to obtain adequate and suitable area for a <br />primary and alternate site. Normally, with lots of five -plus <br />acres, the City does not ask for septic testing. I asked that Lot 1 <br />be tested based on the several slopes and wetlands areas that make up <br />over half of the lot. Proposed Lot 1 now satisfies the septic standards <br />of the City. If the alternate septic site is utilized at some .iture <br />date, a new well site must be found and the old one abandoned. <br />The City will ask for a flowage and conservation easement over the <br />designated wetlands. <br />The DNR has been contacted concerning the proposed plat but sta`f has <br />heard nothing. <br />A park for Lots 2 & 3 at $100 each must be t,aid. <br />tannin,., .:ommission Recommendation - to recommend approval of the <br />preliminary subdivision application of Ski Tonka, Inc. at 4520 Bayside <br />Road per the following condition;,: <br />1. Applicant execute a flowage and conservation easc:mc:nt over the <br />designated wetlands area. <br />2. Access to lot shall be as approved by Henner,;n County Highway Depart- <br />ment in their letter of January 27, 1983. <br />3. if Lot 1 is to use the alternate septic site at some r..ture date, <br />the existing well must be abandoned and a new well site found on <br />the property. <br />4.
