ROLL <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR SEPTEMBER 15. 1997 <br />The Orono Planning Commission met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Chair Dale Lindquist, Charles Schroeder, Sandra Smith, Janice Berg, Elizabeth <br />Hawn, William Stoddard, and Lili McMillan. The following represented the City Staff: <br />Senior Planning Coordinator Michael Ga.ffron, Public Services Director Greg Gappa, City <br />Planner Elizabeth Van Zomeren, Planning Intern Brad Bressler, and Recorder Sherry <br />Frost. Mayor Jabbour and Council Members Goetten and Flint were present. Chair <br />Lindquist called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m <br />SCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARINGS/PUBLIC INFORMATION REVIEWS <br />(#1) #2286 STEVE WHITE, 4355 BAYSIDE ROAD, CLASS I METES AND <br />BOUNDS SUBDIVISION -PUBLIC HEARING 7:02-7:13 P.M. <br />The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate of Mailing were noted. <br />The Applicant was present. <br />Gaffron reported that the application is for a Class I subdivision of 55 acres. The northern <br />portion is in the RR-lA, 5 acre, Zoning District. The southern portion is in the RRlB, 2 <br />acre, and LR-lA, 2 acre lak:eshore, Zoning Districts. One tax parcel has property located <br />on both sides of Bayside Road and is proposed to be subdivided with properties on both <br />side of the road. Lot A would have 18.8 acres of dry buildable. Lot B, which is 29.1 <br />acres, contains the existing house, and will have 23.5 acres of dry buildable. Gaffron
