A Resolution Approving A Metes <br />and Bounds Subdivision Application for <br />Victor E. Norton <br />Whereas, the City of Orono is a municipal corperation or- <br />oanized and existinn und,.r the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br />and <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of Orono 'hereafter <br />"City") has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, <br />economic and safe development of land within the City; and <br />Whereas, the City Council has considered the application <br />for a subdivision of lots 28 and 36, Auditor's Subdivision <br />No. 203 of Victor E. Norton and Mabel M. Norton, husband <br />and wife, (hereafter "subdividers"); and <br />Whereas the City has granted a variance to the area standard <br />of the LR-lA zoning district based on the following findings: <br />1. Each newly created parcel has sufficient shoreline to <br />satisfy zoning district standard of 200' shoreline width. <br />2. Each newly created r.:rcel has sufficient depth to permit <br />safe riparian ust�. <br />3. The newly created riparian lots will be within 66' of <br />their owners' hoatestead lots. <br />4. There is navigable access to the newly created riparian <br />lots. <br />Whereas, the subdividers have completed all requirements <br />of the city, including: <br />1. Execution of a Special Lot Combination with the City <br />providing certain limitations on the use, improvement <br />and sale of the newly created riparian lots. <br />2. Payment to the City for the legal review and filing of <br />this subdivision and all documents related thereto in <br />the amount of $75.00. <br />
