AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: October 13, 2025 <br />Title: Carman Bay Lake Improvement District Levy - Resolution 7628 <br />Presenter: Maggie Jin, Finance Director <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Item: 14 <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this agenda item is to adopt a Resolution 7628 Certifying the Assessment Roll of <br />the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. <br />2. Background: <br />On July 24th, 2017, the Orono City Council passed Resolution 6781 approving the establishment <br />of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. The district is required to hold an annual meeting <br />to adopt an annual budget and tax roll. On September 25, 2025 the district held its annual meeting <br />and adopted its 2026 budget and tax roll. The district has forwarded the assessment roll to the City <br />for certification to Hennepin County. <br />3. Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends the adoption of the attached resolution levying the Assessment Roll for the <br />Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt Resolution 7628 Certifying the Assessment Roll of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement <br />District. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
