AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: October 13, 2025 <br />Title: Kenobi Pond Rehabilitation Award <br />Presenter: Adam Edwards, City Administrator / Engineer <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of the item is to accept a quote for the restoration of Kenobi Pond. <br />Item: 13 <br />2. Background: <br />Kenobi pond is large storm pond located south of the industrial district and north of Highway 12. <br />It receives run off from the northern part of the city around the Stone Bay development area. Last <br />year's inspections identified a breach in one of the embankments, and while repairs were made it <br />was noted that, due to the current lay out of the pond and ditch system, there are several other <br />embankment penetrations that will cause future issues. <br />3. Scope: <br />This project would reconfigure the northern inlet into the pond, adjust the embankment and <br />provide erosion control to the southern inlet to the pond. <br />4. Cost: <br />The city solicited and received quotes from four contractors.
