Mr. McYown stated that there would not be a way to amend the motion to include the <br />entire boards, because an amendment has to compliment the motion. Mr. McKown <br />suggested approvinq or defeating the motion. <br />Jim Franklin withdrew his mc,tion. <br />Jim Franklin MOVED, Bill Levering seconded, that Woods Academy representatives, our <br />admin_stration, Bud Andrus and the city of Maple Plain discuss the grounds issue and <br />report back at the next Board meeting <br />Reuben Palm asked for clarification as to what the city of Maple Plain included. <br />Jim Seiter suggested selecting a number of Maple Plain representatives to he <br />involved to make it a more equitable meetinq. <br />Jim Franklin h+_?VFD, Bill Levering seconded, to amend the motion to read that each <br />party involved shall have two (2) representatives at this meeting. <br />The question was called on the amendment. Carried unanimously. <br />The question was called on the motion as amended Carried unanimously. <br />MON MOTION by Jim Franklin, seconded by Bill Levering, the Discipline Manuals for <br />the high school and the middle school were apE-roved as presented. <br />RESOLVED, upon motion Don Anderson, seconded by Bill Levering, the School Board, at <br />its meetinq on Auqust 13, 1984, did declare its intention to develop protects which <br />expanA and improve the educational programs of the district, and said Board did <br />authorize the Superintendent to execute and file application for and in behalf of <br />the school district, and otherwise to act as its authorized representative in State <br />and federally funded programs. <br />UPON MOTION by Reuben Palm, seconded by Jim Franklin, Judith Ar,r. Davisson was hired <br />as one-fourth home economics teacher for fall quarter, 1984. <br />UPON MOTION by Reuben Palm, seconded by Jim Franklin, Rita "immermar, was hired as <br />elementary music teacher for the 1484-85 school vear. <br />UPON MOTION by Bill Leverinq, seconded by Re u:.en Palm, the fo:lowing resolution was <br />passed- <br />n <br />
