MINI.TES OF THE MEETING OF THE SCHOOL COARD <br />OF ORONO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DII�YRIC-, NO. 279 <br />HELD ON MONDAY, AUGUST 13, 1984 <br />The regular meeting of the School Board of Orono Independent School District No 2711 <br />was held on Monday, August 13, 1984. <br />Present: David McKown James Franklin James Seater <br />Don Anderson William Levering William Fenholt <br />Kitty Crosby Reuben Palm <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Bill Levering, the minutes of the July 5, <br />1984, special meeting were approved as presented. <br />UPON MOTION by Reuben Palm, seconded by Kitty Crosby, the minutes of the July 9, <br />1984, annual meeting were approved as presented. <br />Bill Levering expressed concern regarding curriculum writing and the need for <br />keeping the Board informed as the writing evolves rather than the Board receiving <br />only the finished product. Mr. Seater responded that this subject will be discussed <br />at the Principals' Meet and Confer meeting to be held on August 15, 1984. <br />Dave McK�wn called on Mr. Norb Gernes, Woods Academy, to present. their Lester of <br />Intent. Mr. Gernes stated that a letter of intent had been sent to the Board on <br />July 11, 1984 and after feedback from the Board through Bud Andrus and Jim Seater, <br />the following letter of intent was drafted by Mr. Jim Benson: <br />_� , <br />cm A �� <br />t <br />
