District's counter proposal to Moods Academy, the agreement would be contingent upon <br />a satisfactory arrangement being reached between Woods Academy and Orono School <br />District with regard to use of `he grounds by the city of Maple Plain. <br />The question was called on th^ amendment regarding grounds use. Carried unanimously. <br />'!fie question was called on the amendment regarding payment in cash at the time of <br />the exercise of the option. Carried unanimously. <br />71-e question was called on the .mendment regarding guarantee of payments. Carried <br />Lu►animously. <br />The question was called on the motion. Carried unanimously. <br />Discussion followed regarding the entire property reverting back to Orono School in <br />the event Woods Academy would default on the agreement; the possibility of having <br />Commur.'ty Education work with Woods Academy on scheduling of grounds and not <br />involving the city of Maple Plain as long as the ball diamonds, etc. are used by the <br />whole community; Woods Academy .should be made aware of the extent of the use of <br />chose grounds by Maple Plain. <br />The Board would like a response from Woods Academy by the August 13th Board meeting. <br />The Board requested that Bud Andrus indicate to Mr. Sant Arora that the District is <br />in the process of exploring a proposal from Woods Academy and that Mr. Andrus would <br />keep him informed. <br />MOTION by Reuben Palm, sec>nded by Jim Franklin, the meeting was adjourned <br />Approved: <br />Dave McKown, Chairman — <br />-KAfi=r*V_ P.
