CITY OF ORONO -NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold public <br />hearings in the Council Chambers at 2780 <br />Kelley Parkway o n Monday, May 15, 199 5, <br />th e me et ing to commence at 7:00 p.m ., on <br />the matter of reviewing. the following land use <br />appl ications: <br />1. #2013 The Freshwater Foundation has <br />applied for a condttional use permtt to allow <br />the Foundation to own and manage the Gray <br />Freshwater Biological Institute located at <br />2500 Shadywood Road . The University of <br />Minnesota has managed the Institute <br />successfully for approximately 20 years. Due <br />to growing budgetary constraints, the <br />University has offered to return the Institute <br />to the Fo undation . <br />2 . #2015 Mark Harrington, lhe owner of <br />the QL_operty located at 4080 Bayside Road, <br />has applied for a street setback variance for <br />a proposed addition to the north and west <br />side of the existing res idence . In addition, the <br />applicant has applied for a conditional use <br />permit to allow a non-rentaVguest apartment <br />to be installed within the new addition. <br />3. #2016 Mark Dupont, the owner of the <br />property located at 2275 Webber Hills Road, <br />has applied for street and side setback <br />variances for a garage addition to be located <br />at the northwest side of the existing <br />res idence. <br />4 . #2017 William Hibbs, owner of the <br />.. _. ___ <br />' .-. -. ~ ~.;:--... •. <br />property located at 1905 Fagerness Point <br />Road, seeks approval of a street setback; <br />side setback and · hardcover variances within <br />the 75-250' setback area to allow the removal <br />of the west portion of the residence and the <br />installation of a new two-story addition with <br />tuck under garage to face F agerness Point Road . . ·--· ·· .. - <br />5. #2018 Richard Born, the owrier of the <br />property located at 1991 Fagerness Point <br />Road, seeks approval of a conditional use <br />permit for t_he installation of ·a permanent <br />dock at the east shoreline of this property, at <br />the approximate location of the existing dock. <br />6. #2019 Leisel Cox has applied for a <br />conditional use permit for a Class 1 · <br />. restaurant within the multi-use building <br />located at 3445 Shoreline D.rive .
