CITY OF ORONO -NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold public hearings in the Council Chambers at 2780 Kelley <br />Parkway on Monday, May 15, 1995, the meeting to commence at 7:00 p.m., on the matter of <br />reviewing the following land use applications: <br />1. #2013 The Freshwater Foundation has applied for a conditional use permit to allow the <br />Foundation to own and manage the Gray Freshwater Biological Institute located at 2500 <br />Shadywood Road. The University of Minnesota has managed the Institute successfully <br />for approximately 20 years. Due to growing budgetary constraints , the University has <br />offered to return the Institute to the Foundation. <br />2 . #2015 Mark Harrington, the owner of the property located at 4080 Bayside Road, has <br />applied for a street setback variance for a proposed addition to the north and \vest side <br />of the existing residence. In addition, the applicant has applied for a conditional use <br />permit to allow a non-rental/guest apartment to be installed within the new addition . <br />3 . #2016 Mark Dupont, the owner of the property located at 2275 Webber Hills Road, has <br />applied for street and side setback variances for a garage addition to be located at the <br />northwest side of the existing residence. <br />4. #2017 William Hibbs, owner of the property located at 1905 Fagerness Point Road, <br />seeks approval of a street setback, side setback and hardcover variances within the 75- <br />250' setback area to allow the removal of the west portion of the residence and the <br />installation of a new two-story addition with tuck under garage to face Fagerness Point <br />Road . <br />5 . #2018 Richard Born, the owner of the property located at 1991 Fagerness Point Road, <br />seeks approval of a conditional use permit for the installation of a permanent dock at the <br />east shoreline of this property, at the approximate location of the existing dock . <br />6. #2019 Leise! Cox has applied for a conditional use permit for a Class 1 restaurant within <br />the multi-use building located at 3445 Shoreline Drive. The restaurant will have a <br />seating capacity for approximately 30 people and offer expresso drinks, coffee, <br />sandwiches and desserts . <br />All persons wishing to be heard will appear at this meeting.
