These
conclusions are based on the septic inspector's
findings and recem4endatians.
Council Fleeting - October 16, 1979
Mayor Van Most moved, Butler seconded, to approve
a variance to the moratorium for Robert W. Martin Rafferty
Alan Olson, Ci to 111 cumer, entered into the record FF.NCr ORDINANCE
the following memo conearninq a fence construction
moratorium ordinance, dated October 9, 1979, which
states:
Council has arkrd for revisions to the fencing
sections of the zoning code for nevNral meetings.
Staff's priority has been working on completion
of the subdivision ordinance (which is heinq
typed now with the latest revisions) and the
Comprothensive Plan. We would prefer t.-) ca+tplete
these first, including the changes in fencing
provisions with the general zoning code revision
which is next on the list of priorities.
Connequently, we think it is logical and justified
for the Council to have concerns with the existing
fence provisions and to assure some chanq,is immediately
in what is beinq built, r recommend adoption of
this moratorium to allow sufficient time to prepare
the desired ordinance revisions.
(Continued)
