The proposal includes an island at the road entrance. While this <br />is acceptable for a private road, the island would have to be removed <br />if the City ever was to take over maintenance of the road. Language <br />to this effect will be placed in the private road covenants. <br />City Engineer Glenn Cook notes that the road on each side of the <br />island should be 18' paved width. The developer has widened the road <br />outlot at the entrance to accommodate this extra total width. <br />2. The developer proposes a single permanent subdivision sign <br />monument, to be placed on the island. He will present an artist's <br />rendering of the sign at the meeting Monday night. <br />Staff Roca ooiendation - <br />Staff recommends final plat approval per the attached resolution. <br />Proposed Motion - Moved by , seconded by , to approve the seven lot <br />residential plat of Painters woods for Fullerton Properties Inc. at 880 <br />Townline Road per the attached resolution.
